Petunia is a riot! She's the smallest bulldog we've had and has the biggest personality! She's friendly, adventurous and fun to watch and interact with. She has all of the signs that she was nothing more than a breeding dog who was left in a kenneled outdoors, then cut loose when they were done breeding her. She is not potty trained and has been a bit stubborn getting her completely onboard. She's been going #2 outside well, unless you walk her into a store... she like to poop in public stores but will squat to wee at the drop of a dime with little warning so you have to really be on top of her with this. She also hates the rain. She cannot be left to roam the home freely as she will not only soil in it but she has a bad habit of biting on furniture like it's a toy. She has to be supervised. Due to this, and the fact she likes to bully dogs smaller than herself, she cannot be adopted to anyone living in an apartment.
We have put a lot of money into her to get her healthy. She's had full xrays that showed she has good hips but untreatable dysplasia of the shoulders, had a difficult spay due to all her C-section scaring, she had entropian eye surgery on both eyes and was hospitalized twice for food blockages. She's on a specific diet that should not be veered from It's Honest Kitchen dehydrated base with raw chicken mixed in.
