 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

PETRA WAS ADOPTED 12/12/2008! Petra found herself lost and wound up in the shelter. She is a sweet adult with very good manners. She seems to adore women and gets along great with other dogs. She's good with cats too. She's not too sure about men though right now but she's not mean but rather steers clear of them. It seems a man with a tasty treat can sway her to give them a chance though :) It seems pretty clear that a man was not very nice to her during her life. It's been our experience that with time, love, kindness and patience, this is overcome. She's only about 30-35 pounds and is about 5 years old. She'll be going to the vet for a good check over this week but seems to be in very good health if not just a tad thin right now. She seems to have been trained not to get on furniture and when you walk by with any food, she will sit at attention very politely!
