 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

IKE is a handsome Great Dane x Pointer mix. He is large, young, happy and full of life. Ike has his charming ways that will put a smile on your face! He is such a good natured boy and wants to please and be good. He is 18 months old and weighs 85 to 90 pounds. He has a face that is easy to fall in love with and will keep your house filled with joy. Ike is learning his basic commands and already knows the command sit. He is eager to please and with a little time and patience this fella will be the best dog on the block. Ike is a big boy who will need a strong handler that will set boundaries both at home and on the road. He loves to chase birds, go swimming and chewing on his Kong toy. This boy has lots of energy and would love to be your outdoor companion to join you on jogs or hiking. He settles down into a great big lap dog after he has his fun in the sun and will be happy to lay with you in the shade later. Ike is house trained and loves to go for car rides. He is excellent with other dogs and has been around dogs of all ages and sizes. His family abandoned him at a boarding facility, then he ultimately ended up in a shelter. That's when we stepped in to help him. He will be arriving this weekend and he will start obedience training while in our care until an appropriate home is found for him. With the Pointer in him and being about 18 months old, he loves to chase cats and livestock so a home without is best for him or rather them!
