 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION... this dog is located in Yakima, WA with Lifesavers Rescue This very handsome, gentle gentle young dog is CABLE. CABLE was a stray roaming the countryside and looking for a home where someone wanted him. Finally a couple took him in but couldn't keep him as they already had too many dogs that had been dumped at their place. CABLE is about 2 years of age and at this time he weighs 61#. He came in quite thin and one could tell he had been having a hard time of it. He is now putting on weight and looking mighty fine.When he was neutered they found a broken tooth with the root exposed and that was very painful for him. The root was removed and he can eat hard food again. CABLE is doing great with most all of the dogs in his foster home. He is around tiny 7 week old Chihuahua mix puppies, other males, females and has been fine. The pups are always trying to climb all over him and look in his big mouth. There is another large boy though that he is vying for position with. This is most likely due to just now being neutered. It will take a few months for his hormones to settle down and hopefully he'll be great with other big boys then like he is with all of the other dogs he's met! What is perfect about CABLE is his age. He has matured, settled down, isn't hyper, and is so open to learning what is expected of him. He would be such a well mannered, polite house pet after going through obedience lessons with his humans. He has been around young children and was fine. I do not know about cats. CABLE is a very athletic dog and would make a great walking or jogging companion for someone. He could do about anything you wanted him to do. He needs to be an inside dog as Boxers have such short hair coats and don't like being outside during bad weather. A fenced yard is mandatory and someone home at least part of the day to keep working with CABLE. He is not fully house trained yet so continued work in that area would be needed. He has been neutered, vaccinated and will be micro-chipped before adoption. There is a $225 adoption donation for CABLE to help with his neutering and dental bill.
