***BERT IS A COURTESY POSTING ONLY. WE HAVE NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS DOG SO PLEASE CONTACT bulldog.adoption@yahoo.com FOR ALL INFORMATION AND CORRESPONDANCE REGARDING BERT, THANK YOU*****
Introducing Bert the Bulldog! Bert is in search of a new home, as his elderly owner is unable to care for him any longer.
This big guy is an absolute character--his silly antics will have you in stitches, while his soulful stare will melt your heart! :) Bert is 3 years old, but he thinks he's still a little kid ... he's very playful & active for a bulldog. He loves to chase butterflies in the backyard & roll around in the fresh cut grass.
A firm, experienced handler is a must, as Bert is no shrinking violet--he'd love to be top dog if he were allowed to be. ;)
Bert has peacefully cohabitated with other dogs & children, but we would prefer to see him go to a home without other dogs or young children; he tends to be a dominant male & will be a more enjoyable pet if he's an only child..
This sweet bully has gone through obedience classes, so he knows heel, sit, down & stay--though he would benefit from some refreshing.
We would ideally like to see Bert placed in an English Bulldog-experienced home, as this breed has special needs regarding their care (ie indoor, grooming, health, exercise).
Bert is house-trained & crate trained.
For more information on Bert or to fill out our online adoption application, please email us at bulldog.adoption@yahoo.com .
Bert currently resides in eastern WA. His adoption fee is $500, and he's neutered, micro-chipped & up-to-date on shots. Adoption process entails online adoption application, reference checks & a home safety check.
