 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Attention....this dog is located in Yakima, WA and is a courtesy post for Lifesavers Rescue. This is not a Collar of Hope foster dog. This just 'way cool' boy is RILEY. He looks to possibly be a Border Collie and some kind of Terrier breed. He is about 4 months of age. He has soft wavy fur but yet looks like a Terrier. He is 13" tall and weighs about 15-18#. RILEY was dumped in the country and very frightened, hungry and not trusting anyone since he was so confused. After being caught with alot of kind words and about a pound of sausage, he was then all kisses and licks to his rescuer. RILEY is in a foster home with several other dogs and cats living in the home. He is a playful, typical young pup but is actually quite calm and quiet. He much prefers to be with the foster Mom and have her attention. He would do very well in being the only dog in the home, at least, for awhile as he doesn't seek out the other dogs to play with him. RILEY would be a great dog for a family with children. If we are correct on his breeding he will be an active dog and will need an active family. Someone who would take him on daily walks, after he has had all his vaccinations, would be the best. A well exercised dog is a well balanced dog and make the best pets. A fenced yard is mandatory for this pup's safety. There is an adoption donation for RILEY of $150. He will be neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. He is located in Yakima, WA.
