 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Attention....this dog is located in Yakima, WA and is a courtesy post for Lifesavers Rescue. This is not a Collar of Hope foster dog. This great dispositional dog is KODA. She is a black/tan colored 2 year old Doberman. KODA is about 23-24" tall and weighs about 60#. KODA was raised with 5 and 7 year old children in the home. She also lived in a home with a toddler and he inspected the inside of her ears, mouth, under her tail, laid on her and hug her around the neck. KODA is an owner surrender due to financial problems with her owner. KODA is great on a leash, knows basic commands, is house broke, is good with other dogs. She is a gentle dog and LOVES her humans. This is such a great quality in the Doberman breeds, as they live to be with humans. Koda much prefers women to men. She is accepting of men but leery and quite shy of them at the beginning. There could have been puppyhood abuse from a man. KODA needs a home where she will be welcome inside the home most of the time. She would do very well in a home with children or in a home where she would get adequate walking or jogging on an almost daily basis. Whomever cut her tail off went way to short and she has quite a short tail. She has the natural ears. Cropping a Doberman's ears is VERY VERY painful to the dog so leaving them natural is best. KODA is just a pleasant dog to have around and be with. A fenced yard is mandatory for her protection. KODA is spayed, current on ALL vaccines and micro-chipped.
