 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Attention....this dog is located in Yakima, WA and is a courtesy post for Lifesavers Rescue. This is not a Collar of Hope foster dog. This sweet, chubby young puppy is MANDY. She was born on 1-22-09. She will be ready for adoption on 3-20, when she is a little over 8 weeks old. MANDY'S mother looks to be Chow Chow (has a total black tongue) and Boston Terrier. The father could have been a Lab. Pictures are available of Mother. MANDY will probably not be a tall dog but will be a hefty bodied gal. She is a beautiful color and will have a nice short hair coat. Since MANDY is such a young young puppy, there needs to be someone home at least part of the day to be with her and continue her training and socialization. Pups do NOT do well being left alone all day and it is the proper socialization and obedience training during the young months that helps them to develop into well balanced adult dogs and enjoyable family pets. A fenced yard is mandatory. Lifesavers is very sorry but we don't adopt puppies under 4 months old or not fully vaccinated to anyone with a public potty area (apartments, Condo's) as they are highly susceptible to Parvo and Distemper that could be present in these areas.This is one of the reasons why private fenced private yards are so important. Mandy is too young to be spayed so a prepaid spay receipt will be required from your local veterinarian at time of adoption. There is a $125 adoption donation for MANDY.
