EMMA is a pretty black and white Boston Terrier. She weighs about 18#. She was born 5-1-09, so is not quite 2 years old. She has had one litter of pups. She is spayed now.
EMMA is a friendly, loving, quiet dog and loves people. She is good with children. She is an owner surrender due to them having too many dogs and knowing they did. She lived with 13 other dogs in the home.
These Boston breeds are just great dogs for about anyone. Here is what the AKC says about them..
Right Breed for You?
The Boston has been nicknamed "the American Gentleman" because of his dapper appearance, characteristically gentle disposition and suitability as companion and house pet. They require only a moderate amount of exercise and a minimum amount of grooming. The breed is easy to train and they are easy keepers, preferring to remain by their ownerâs sides.
Since she has lived with so many other dogs, it is best if she be in a home with no more than one other dog. and that should be a male dog. She doesn't get along well with other female dogs. She deserves the chance to have more one on one attention with her humans and to get continued socialization and training.
I was told she was house broke. She is a very friendly dog and has a happy disposition and loves being with people.
A fenced yard is MANDATORY as she has always had a fenced yard and is not street savvy. EMMA has been spayed, vaccinated including Rabies and will be micro-chipped before adoption.
Since both her previous owners worked full time, it would be nice if she wasn't left home alone all day alone so I am wanting a home where there is a person home at least part of the day.
There is a $200 adoption donation for EMMA.
