This very pretty Boxer girl is PENNY. She was born on 12-25-2010 so is just 7 months old. She is a petite Boxer and at this time weighs 45#. PENNY is a rich, deep fawn color.
PENNY is a fun, athletic, ENERGETIC, silly, typical goofy and lovable Boxer. She loves water coming out of the hose....she likes other dogs...she loves kids...and she loves to be in the house with her humans. She is quiet and has good house manners....well for the most part....after all she IS still a pup.
PENNY does still want to jump on people at times, so would not be good in a home with young children. She was good with my 6 year old grandson but he is used to a large dog. She is not aggressive toward small dogs but would be too rough on one in wanting to play and Boxer's DO use those front legs.
Because PENNY is still so young and immature, there needs to be someone home at least part of the day, so she continues to get proper training and exercise. She is a great age to attend dog obedience classes to learn all her lady like manners and to know what is expected of her.
She would be a great dog for someone who walks or jogs on a regular basis....although she hasn't been on a leash much. This is a breed of dog who needs daily, good exercise as a well exercised dog is a better behaved dog.
Boxers are slower to mature than many of the other breeds and this happens about 2 years of age so patience, consistency and proper discipline in training is needed. Once this maturity is reached, Boxers are such a joy to have in the home and are much loved by their owners.
PENNY has been spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and wormed. She is ready for her new home. A secure fenced yard is MANDATORY!
There is a $300 adoption donation fee for PENNY.
