 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION....this dog is with Lifesavers Rescue in YAKIMA, WA. Please email them. She is located in Yakima. This so handsome pup is BENNY. He was born on 11-6-2011 so is 11 weeks old. His mother is an Australian Shepherd and the father was a Shepherd...possibly a German Shepherd breed. He has one bright blue eye and one brown. He weighs about 27# at this time. I am guessing he could be a medium to large size adult dog. BENNY will be a very intelligent dog. Both these breeds are known for their intelligence, loyalty to their humans, intuitive and athletic dogs. I personally have had both breeds and loved and truly admired them greatly. Because BENNY is still a young pup, there needs to be someone home at least part of the day to continue training and socializing him. He is not house broke at this time. He will be an active growing puppy who would benefit, as would his humans, if given daily exercise such a a good walk, jog or run...after he gets all his vaccinations. A well exercised dog is a happier and more adjusted dog. A secure fenced yard is MANDATORY!!!!! This is for his safety. Because he is too young to be neutered, you will need to provide a prepaid neuter receipt from your local veterinarian at time of adoption. He will be current on vaccines, wormings and micro-chipped. Because BENNY is a young, needs to learn his manners, active and happy puppy he still jumps on people to get attention. We are working on this but it takes awhile so there shouldn't be any children in the home under about 6 to 8 years of age as they would not know how to work with the pup and could get knocked over or scratched by the puppy who doesn't know his boundaries yet.
