 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION....this dog is with Lifesavers Rescue in YAKIMA, WA. Please email them. He is located in Yakima., WA This nice dog is GENTLEMAN RILEY. He is a 2 year old neutered kind dog. He is mostly an inside dog. He was raised with young teenagers in the home and also children 1 and 5 years old visiting a lot. I believe he is a Springer Spaniel/Border Collie mix. He is about 15-16 inches tall at the shoulder. RILEY weighs about 40#. He was also raised with other dogs in the home and cats....so is a well socialized boy and he is great with other dogs although his first love and want is to be with the people in the home. He is one of the 'gentle soul' dogs we get into rescue and so love. The lady giving RILEY up is moving into an apartment with her children and cannot have pets. She loves RILEY and finding it very difficult in having to give him up. They even flew him from back East when they moved to Washington so they could keep him but this move for the family is different. RILEY was on a chain when outside to potty or get fresh air as there was no fenced yard and they wanted him safe...but he was inside most of the time so he is used to being part of the family. He has had all the freedom to run and play in our fenced yard since being here. He is not a hyper or dog that tends to bark....in fact I don't think I have heard him bark. A fenced yard at his new home is MANDATORY! He is a quiet, well behaved nice dog. I think he would make a great pet for about any type of family especially one with children.
