About Dublin

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
PLEASE go to our Petfinder Home Page www.collarofhope.petfinder.com for information about our rescue, adoption process and to get our adoption application. The application is also on each dogs profile at the bottom. PLEASE click the blue link below that says 'read more about this pet'!* so you can see all the information provided about the pet and get to our adoption application. Dublin looks like a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier and Aussie Shepherd mix. He is about 7 months old and came to us semi-feral with 2 siblings. They were born outdoors and not handled by humans much thus the semi feral behaviors. PLEASE - applicants interested in him must have strong dog behavior background and knowledge in order to suceed with this boy. He was afraid of everything and terrified of a leash upon arrival. He loves and trusts his foster Mom now and does great on a leash now too. His social skills need to continue at his pace and comfort in his new home so he does not regress. He can be bathed and handled easily when he feels safe and trusts his people. He also enjoys being brushed now and he will need it to keep his coat looking gorgeous. We don't want him to have the knots that were all over it when he arrived again in his life. So, as adorable as this green eyed beauty is, he is not for everyone. We are asking that if there are kids in the home that they are older and kind, yet confident interacting with dogs so everything in his life stays on a positie note until he has completely come around to the pampered, domestic side of life as he should have known all along and is due in his future! Dublin is neutered, vaccinated incl rabies, flea/worm treated and microchipped. Adoption fee of $200 applies
