 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Connie is a darling and sweet older girl!  We are not sure of her age, but she's had blood work done, has been spayed and has had a dental.  She lost most of her upper teeth when we had her dental done so she should stay on a good quality canned or dehydrated diet.   She can now eat tiny dog food and actually prefers that!   She's a little shy at first,  but within a few days she will be following you around like a shadow, and she won't want to leave your side.  She'd make a good gardening buddy or couch potato buddy, and she's just a great friend to have around!  She loves to sit on your lap and be close all the time.  She will/does sleep in a crate, but would prefer to sleep with someone.  She's  good in a crate in a vehicle.   She's pretty good on a leash, but needs a fenced yard because she has not figured out yet how to potty at the end of a leash.  She has good energy for a little older dog and has no problem going up and down stairs, but due to her age, probably a few stairs is best.  She can jump onto a couch or into your lap like a spring chicken!  She's good with other little dogs and sometimes tries to play with them.  She even likes to bathe them.   She's doing good with house manners, but you HAVE to get her out often just like any little dog. NO apartments or condo type of homes as she can be a little vocal when left alone, and she gets so excited to see you when you return.   She can be a little chatty in a cute way when she's "talking" to you as well, so you need to have a good personality to love hers!    This sweet little  girl just needs someone who is home most of the time,  is kind and compassionate, and will love  her for the rest of her life.   A calm sweet home would be the best for her and maybe a small dog friend or two!
