 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites.

Basic requirements are as follows to be considered:
Someone MUST be home to raise this puppy, she cannot raise herself. 
Due to the\is puppy's small size, no young children in the home. 
Insure you will be able to be there for her at the end of her life, which can be 15-18 years from now.  (We are seeking a forever home, not a for right now home)

Fleur and her sister Roux were born on Mar 5th, Fat Tuesday.  Mama is a 6 pound Chihuahua but Fleur looks to have dachshund in her by her chunky, short legs and feet plus color pattern.  She's the reason Mama needed a c-section, she wasn't able to come out on her own.  She's adorable of course but also outgoing and flirty.  She much more independent that her sister Roux, who just wants to be held all the time.  

Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines.

Our puppies are micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate, de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.  This puppy will need to be spayed when older due to her small size.  It can be done under our account at our neuter clinic or adopter can have it done at their vet at their own expense and provide proof by 5 months of age. 
The puppy will be vaccinated according to their age and will need additional vaccinations depending on their age.

Vaccine Protocol is as follows:
DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines.
Bordetella 12 weeks of age
Rabies 4-6 months of age

 

Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Requires a yard
