We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.
Lacey is a sweet, gentle, shih Tzu or mix of one. She's good with other dogs, loves food and treats and getting showered in love. She's not too needy though.
When she was rescued, her fur and skin were a mess and she was under weight. She's getting a good diet and care of her fur and skin. A good diet will need to continue in her new home to keep her healthy. She is currently on a grain free canned food mixed with a good grain free kibble that is soaked.
She probably lived outside as she had no concept of potty training when she arrived and preferred to go on a potty pad to going outside. We are working on this with her and she's starting to get it. Because of this, she should have a family that can continue to work with her potty training and be willing to use potty pads meanwhile and be able to get her outside often enough for her needs (no full time work hours).
