 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.

  I'm Beau! Did you know that the word beau means, "A rich, fashionable young man"? I love my name because that used to be me before I fell on some really rough times. No human took care of me so I got into some pretty bad shape. I mean really bad. The shelter realized my fur was so matted that it encased my body and once they shaved me they realized I was so, so skinny. And my teeth were a mess!

  Thank goodness for caring humans. They shaved me, cleaned me up, fixed my teeth, and started feeding me the good stuff. It's taking me a while to gain much weight, but they sure do try! Bless their hearts, they've tried different foods from high-end kibble, canned, different forms of raw diets. I'm trying too, I really am. At first I would only eat kibble, but slowly I'm eating soaked kibble mixed with good grain-free canned food. I'm getting there, it's hard when you've been ignored for so long that it takes awhile to get on board. I want to be handsome and dapper again though.

  All that aside, I'm a really happy, friendly guy! I'm around 10 years old, which means my best years are still to come. I love soft laps, cushy beds, and a home to call my own.
