Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.    Charlie came to us when his family realized they could not give Charlie the life he needed and deserved.  He's a big baby/teenager now.  They said he's a husky and shih Tzu mix and we certainly can't determine anything different so.. who knows for sure.  He's a lovable, gorgeous doll regardless of his mix.  He doesn't seem to need hair cuts and just has a natural muppet look to him but that's not a positive either. He definitely needs to be bathed and brushed often though for sure.  He is young and can be too much for smaller dogs so homes with small dogs would not be the best match for Charlie.   Kids... He likes kids but if your kids are shy or afraid of a busy, jumpy dog, he's not the right dog for you. ​He needs some training and someone who has the time and desire to provide this for him. He is fairly energetic too and definitely a husky mix so no apartments and a secure fence is mandatory.  He's such a sweetie and overall good natured, fun boy He is fairly energetic too so he needs a family that is the same and has the time to give to him.  He makes noise in a crate and isn't mature enough to be left to run amok in a home while not supervised so please keep this in mind with your home life and living conditions (close neighbors etc) ​Please visit our website directly to complete an online application.
