Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.
Katy's parents were older and ended up with medical issues where they were no longer able to take care of her. She has some arthritis and her eyes aren't as sharp as the they once were but she will make a great companion to someone who wants a side kick and buddy. A more calm household would be ideal. She's fine with respectful dogs but if a dog challenges her, she does stick up for herself. A good diet and supplements for her arthritis should keep her good for a long time to come. She hasn't been around young children and if there are children in the picture, they should be older and respectful. She has not been cat tested.
