Can you see me? I can't see you, but no worries. I'm Bailey! OK so here's the deal. I had an elderly owner who loved me, but was in poor health so I was sorta neglected. My son Petey and I came to Collar of Hope for a fresh start. Petey has already been adopted, but I'm still here without him, waiting for a new place.

I have a few health things I need to tell you, but they don't make me any less beautiful. My eyes...I have cataracts, but also had something called ulcers. Good news though is that they treated the ulcers so even though I can't see well, I feel pretty darned good! Honestly my eyes were only one of my keen senses and I can maneuver quite well without them. My thyroid is on the fritz so I take a pill twice a day for that, but the good news is that it's very inexpensive and really not a big deal (Collar of Hope told me to tell you "we get her meds in 90 day supplies easily."

I'm on a strict diet to get my health under control, so that's all good. A lady's gotta stay healthy. I eat a brand called "Honest Kitchen" or need a similar diet of raw or good grain-free canned food free of beef to keep me going. Collar of Hope will help you out with my nutrition need information. I had my dental done recently and my labs are A-OK! I'm getting my second wind!

I get a little cautious when meeting new dogs and who can blame me, I can't seem 'em very well! I'm sweet and loveable, quiet, and gentle. I still have so much more love to give and many years ahead to give it! I hope you'll give me a chance.
