 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION... this dog is located in Yakima, WA. with Lifesavers Rescue This beautiful dog is KODA. She could be a Aussie mix but I really don't know. KODA is about 1 1/2 years old my vet believes. She is a blue merle and has the striking blue eyes. She is owner surrender due to them moving. She has a long tail. She weighs about 33# at this time... but is a little thin. KODA, being an Australian Shepherd, is..." an intelligent, active dog with an even disposition; good natured, seldom quarrelsome and known as the 'peace keepers' in the dog world....as they don't like strife between humans or dogs. They are bred to be herding dogs and therefore are active dogs". Koda IS an active dog but not a hyper hyper dog and will need an active family. Someone who will take her for daily walks, jogs or runs, would make an ideal family for her. She is SO wanting to please, not sure what IS expected of her, could use more self confidence and will need a gentle owner committed to working with her. I really like this dog and she does have a gentle, kind personality so known of these breeds. Koda was raised in a home with 2 and 10 year old children. She also lived and played with their cat and other dogs. She is very good and playful with a Doberman pup we have at this time. Once inside, she quiets down and has good house manners. A fenced yard is mandatory! Please give a lot of thought to you being committed to exercising this beautiful dog on a regular basis. She will also need her hair coat brushed once a week. We personally had an Aussie for 14 years and truly considered her the most intelligent ,loyal, gentle dog we have had. There is a $175 adoption donation for KODA. She is spayed, current on vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped .
