 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION....this dog is located in Yakima, WA and is a courtesy post for Lifesavers Rescue. This is not a Collar of Hope foster dog. This delightful, pure black, sweet girl is MISS DAISY. She was born 5-20-09, so is just a little over 1 year old. Pugs are recognized for their even-tempers, playful personalities, and their outgoing, loving dispositions. DAISY was raised with handicapped children in the home and also with other dogs. She is energetic but not hyper. DAISY would do well if taken to dog obedience classes to learn all her ladylike manners and know commands. Due to family situations in her previous home, she was not walked or given much exercise. A home with someone who enjoys going for short walks would be great. Also Pugs do NOT NOT tolerate heat so she cannot be kept in hot places for very long, be outside in the heat or get overheated. Daisy does love getting into water. DAISY would love another dog in the home to romp with. I do not for sure if she is totally house trained so you must be willing to work with her on this. She sleeps on the bed all night and never moves. Pugs are really into their humans and make such great companions. Because she does need further training and is used to having people around most of the time, I am looking for a home where someone is home at least part of the day. A fenced yard is MANDATORY. Please be sure your fencing is secure and if not, that it is fixed before getting a dog. DAISY is spayed, current on all vaccinations, including Rabies and will be micro-chipped before adoption.
