 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION...this dog is located in Yakima, WA. with Lifesavers Rescue at lifesaversrescue@live.com. Please email them. This little gal is REBA. She was born 3-5-2011 and is now 7 months old....just the perfect age to be adopted. REBA is a pretty puppy with red heeler colored markings. She only weighs 8# at this time. She is about 6-7" tall. This size will be just about her adult size.....small!!! Her mother is a very short and squatty Cattle dog looking m MIX breed. PICTURES of mother and father are available also. Her mother is about 10" tall and weighs about 18# and the father was not quite as heavy. The grandfather to the pups was a ShihTzu mix pure black dog. REBA will NOT be a very big adult dog. I am guessing maybe 9-10#. She is the size of a Chihuahua. She is very friendly and is well socialized with all kinds of other dogs. REBA loves to be held and talked to. She IS a small small puppy with big big ears :o) She is an active dog and loves to play with other small dogs but she is not hyper or yappy. Reba is quite intelligent. Because of the size and age of REBA there needs to be only children in the home over 12 years of age. Young children and young small breed pups are not a good combination in most cases. Please understand this. Also since REBA is such a young pup and will need continued training and socialization, there needs to be someone home most of the day. Dogs are pack animals by nature and truly need to be with other dogs or humans during the important developing ages to become well balanced adult dogs. Pups do not do well being left alone for long hours and isolated. This kind of isolation can cause fearful-aggressive personalities. A fenced yard is MANDATORY!! This is for the safety of the pup in many ways. REBA has been spayed, micro-chipped and has had all her puppy vaccines and wormings. There is a $175 adoption fee for REBA.
