About Rosa

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
ATTENTION....this dog is with Lifesavers Rescue in YAKIMA, WA. Please email them. She is located in Yakima. This beautiful little girl is ROSA. She is a purebred German Shepherd pup born on 2-20-2012. She is now 11 weeks old and ready for adoption. ROSA has been with her siblings so she has learned how to be social and how to give and stand up for herself. This learning helps pups to grow into well balanced adult dogs. Because ROSA is such a young pup there needs to be someone home at least part of the day to continue training her, socializing her and being with her. Isolation and lack of exercise and training is what turns pups into fearful-aggressive personalities. German Shepherd Dogs are utilized often as police dogs, service dogs, agility dogs, conformation animals, obedience dogs, and sentinels make outstanding family pets and companions. Their high trainability and extreme loyalty and commitment make them an excellent choice for any agenda. These qualities, which have endeared the German Shepherd Dog to a wide public in practically every country of the globe, are those of the companion, protector, and friend. They are highly intelligent and also listed as one of the top most intelligent dogs to have. This breed is NOT for a person or family who does not already exercise in either walking, jogging or running. After the pup has received all 4 required puppy vaccines and has the immunity needed, it needs to be adequately exercised on a daily basis. A well exercised dog is a happier, better balanced and more enjoyable house dog. It is strongly advised and required by Lifesavers that you attend dog obedience classes when she is old enough. I have been lucky to have had 2 different German Shepherd’s as a family pet for years and I was amazed at the intelligence, intuitiveness and loyalty I saw with these dogs. They are truly missed! A FENCED YARD IS MANDATORY!!! Please know that a home inspection will be done. This isn't to invade your privacy but for Lifesavers and you to know this is the right dog for your home. ROSA is too young to be spayed so you will need to provide a prepaid spay receipt from your veterinarian at time of adoption. She will be properly vaccinated, wormed, flea treatment applied and also micro-chipped. Pictures of parents available. There is a $350 adoption donation for ROSA. FOR ADOPTION APPLICATION PLEASE EMAIL: lifesaversrescue@live.com This dog is in Yakima, WA with Lifesavers Rescue, please email them.
