Didley looks like the happiest guy but he definitely needs a patient, confident and EXPERIENCED handler. He was treated very poorly as a youngster and was very afraid of people when he arrived. It's taken a lot of time and work to get him to trust his foster Mom. He was hard to leash break but will walk on a leash now. If he doesn't want to come to you, you won't catch him! He is fast! He would do best if there is a good dog in the home already to help him with the ropes of a new lifestyle. We believe he's a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier, a breed you should look up if you're not familiar with them. They are a smart, stubborn, formidable breed. We had his sister and brother too and they resembled Aussie Shepherd also thus where we came up with the breed guesses. He weighs 50 pounds and is just turning 3 years old. He needs a secure yard with his athleticism as he's proven he can scale many fences if he chooses to attempt it. Then there is his thick hair coat. He is clipped is these photos and he will require regular grooming and cuts throughout the year. If you're up for a challenge that will result in enjoying a funny kid, maybe this is your guy! Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum. Adoption fee is $150.00 If you think this dog is a match for you, please follow the link to complete an application.
