 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites.

Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following:

Is someone home to raise and train a puppy?
Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy?
Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment?

Venus came to us along with several other poodles from a breeder.  All were under a year old and were in awful condition.  They stunk terribly, were matted, overgrown ear and pad fur and were emaciated also.  
Venus was one of the youngest as an older puppy.  She is now engaging, sweet, lovable and will be your best friend! 
Our first priority was to get some healthy weight on them, basic vetting and had other testing done to confirm or rule out anything medical causing the thin state.  Everything came back clear.   

Their new home needs to be willing and able to do the training and working with this dog.  They obviously all came way behind the curve of where they should have been at their ages.  
If you apply for adoption of this or any poodle, you must provide your groomer reference phone number on the application.  We will be calling them. 

Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.
