 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Ian is a very sweet little guy who came from a bad situation.  He came to us with several others that a breeder couldn't sell so she unloaded a bunch of males mostly that were over 1 year old. They lived outside in runs, had no vet care nor grooming experiences.  
He wants to be a lap dog and loves to lounge on the furniture.  If you go sit down, he usually jumps down and lays somewhere else.  But he's finally asking to sit with you know so he will come to love it in his new home but don't expect it immediately.  It was a culture shock for these dogs to come from outside kennel runs to being in home environments.  He's adapted quite well and does great with 4 potty outtings a day.  
Ian has come a very long way but still needs someone patient and understanding.  He must have a proper shih tzu diet (they all came in with pink stained fur from poor shih tzu diets).  He still won't walk on leash so a home with a safe, secure yard is mandatory.  
Lastly, if you submit our adoption application for him, you must provide your groomers name and phone number.  He is not used to grooming so is not a candidate for the chain store groomers and we do need to chat with the groomer.  He doesn't bite but needs special handling to get the job done.
