Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.
Pierre is one of the most neglected dogs we've ever taken in. When he was at the shelter we pulled him from, he was grotesquely matted and his ears, eyes and mouth were severely infected. He's had all of his medical taken care of. He will need to stay on an antibiotic eye drop for a long time to heal his eye ulcers but he does not have dry eye so once the ulcers are healed, his eyes should be be fine in the future.
He is a sweet, lovable, gentle soul who would love to be with a permanent family that will adore him and take great care of him for the rest of his life.
As with all seniors, we don't know his age, it's a mere guess. He's very ambulitory and enjoys puttering around the house, yard or keeping a lap warm. He can go up and down a few steps in and out of the house as well.
